Scoring Systems Explained

Match scoring gives a player a point when they win the hole or takes away a point when the player loses the hole.

Round scoring is standard scoring.

Stableford and Modified Stableford scoring gives the golfer points based on each hole's score.
STABLEFORD POINTS MODIFIED STABLEFORD POINTS
Double Bogey or worse 0 -3
Bogey 1 -1
Par 2 0
Birdie 3 2
Eagle 4 5
Double Eagle 5 8

Best Ball is very similar to round scoring, except that the best round for each hole is used.
